How to Find a Government Auction

Every week, thousands of vehicles are seized by Government agencies like the IRS, DEA, FBI and local Police departments. The government agencies cannot use the vehicles in most cases, although I think occasionally some high end vehicles find their way into service. Think Miami Vice and that sweet Ferrari. Most of the vehicles are auctioned off to the public. These vehicles are listed and sold sometimes up to 95% OFF their original value and vehicle auctions many times start at $100. Government surplus vehicles are well maintained and usually only 2-3 yrs old. These are the typical service vehicles the different agencies use. Some of the seized vehicles may only have a few thousand miles on them! There are two online auction companies that I can recommend that offer you immediate access to 3,000+ updated auctions nationwide, that are not searchable elsewhere on the Internet and with guaranteed listings in every state.

Gov-Auctions.Orgoffers one of the most comprehensive government auction lists anywhere. They have live auctions in EVERY state, and tell you up front before you sign up how many there are in your location. They offer a free course to show you how to succeed, and offer ONE time billing. Not a recurring monthly charge like some of the other sites out there. There is also a full money back guarantee offered. If you choose just one site, this one would be my recommendation.

AuctionPass.Com also has an extremely comprehensive list of government auctions. Also, when you sign up, you get a free e-book on how to bid at these auctions. Also, they do not have recurring billing. After the one time fee you do not have to worry about getting charged again.

What's important in finding police auctions? The most important criteria in selecting one of these sites is Legitimacy; do they have access to ALL government & police auctions, or just a few? The next most important criteria are the listings; do they list repossessed, or repossessed AND seized vehicles? Last but not least is Contact Information; do these sites give you the information you need to register at the auction and contact the departments or agencies directly if you have questions? Do your research and I believe you will find either of these organizations to be a great resource to find the luxury car of your dreams at a price that will let you sleep at night.
